This policy explains what information Aiversely (aiversely.com) collects when you use the site, why, and the choices you have. Aiversely is operated by Sanket, who is responsible for the processing described here.
Summary
- You can browse the directory and guides without an account.
- We collect personal information only when you send it to us (contact form or tool submission) and limited technical data needed to run and protect the site.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Saved items, theme choice, and your upvote history are stored in your own browser.
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, chosen topic, and message. Used to read and reply to your message.
- Newsletter: if you sign up, we store your email address and the time you subscribed so we can send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or through the contact form; we then stop sending and delete your address on request.
- Tool submissions: the tool details you enter and your email address. The tool details may be published after editorial review; your email address is never published and is used only to contact you about the submission.
Information collected automatically
- Abuse-prevention identifiers: when you submit a form, upvote a tool, or sign in to the admin area, we compute a one-way keyed hash of your IP address (and, for upvotes, your browser’s user-agent string). We store the hash, not your IP address, to stop duplicate votes and limit spam. Rate-limit records are deleted after 24 hours; vote records are kept so that each person can vote once per tool.
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept for a limited period set by the host.
- Analytics: we do not currently use an analytics service. If we add one, we will update this policy first.

You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. Doing so does not affect your ability to read the site.
Third-party services that receive your IP address
Pages load some files from third parties. When your browser requests these files, the provider receives your IP address and browser information under its own privacy policy:
- jsDelivr (Bootstrap styles, scripts, and icons).
- Google Fonts (web fonts).
- Google favicon service and DuckDuckGo icon service (small logos for tools in the directory).

Advertising (Google AdSense)
This site does not currently display advertising. We intend to use Google AdSense; the following will apply once ads are enabled.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU).

Legal bases (where applicable)
Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on: your consent (contact form, personalised ads); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and preventing abuse of the site (abuse-prevention hashes, server logs); and steps you request before a listing is published (tool submissions).
How long we keep information
- Contact messages: deleted when no longer needed to handle your request, and in any case within 24 months.
- Newsletter addresses: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Tool submissions: kept while the submission is under review or the listing is live; rejected submissions may be deleted at any time.
- Upvote hashes: kept while the tool is listed. Rate-limit records: 24 hours.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, use the contact form and choose “Privacy or data request”. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security
We use HTTPS, restrict access to stored data to the site administrator, store abuse-prevention identifiers as one-way hashes, and do not store raw IP addresses in our database. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Children
Aiversely is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
International visitors
Our hosting provider and the third parties listed above may process information in countries other than yours.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the “Last updated” date above.
